MRR DEMO REVIEW - Rock'n punk from Massachusetts. These guys have some good layered rock guitar melodies and punchy rhythms. Vocals are sung clearly. Not as wild as NEW BOMB TURKS, but i don't think that's what they're going for. Sometimes I'm reminded of the DC post-hardcore stuff, but not enough to offer up comparisons. Lyrics reminiscing about failed relationships and going after older women at the bar. An image of Joey Buttafuoco is featured on the lyric sheet, as well as a shout out to him for inspiration. Not necessarily my thing, but fans of the style will surely be pleased.
